cars, sunshine, curry and aussie..

Got an email last week...
Fellow Aussie Vauxhaller and Viva owner Andrew was coming from Sweden to be in London town for a Vauxhall only swapmeet over the weekend.
Wanna join?
Err.... an aussie mate and a car fix??!..
I took about 1.6 secs to scrap my non existent schedule say yaaa huh, hell yes please.

It was 'bout 3 hours north west of the city, so thrifty van in hand, off we trot across the country side.

We were lucky, it was perfect sunshinin' 17 deg weather :D

We saw an un-photo-worthy shed full o' parts, Andrew was stoked with some of the crap he picked up.
I was more tickled pink by the sights outside...
A young English guy owns this beauty, him and his
boyfriend had a woven picnic basket on the back seat :)
 Suited them to a teeeee!
This baby is a HB viva.. they don't do it for me..
But still, mint condition, shiny, laa deee da. .! !
a toughy not-so-shiny mat black beast in the mix..
Noice.
The following day we had to swing past a shipping company to drop off some Viva panels and seat covers that Andrew bought for his cars in Aus.

Customs says, NO dirt. So scrubbed we did....
2 hours later. Done and done.

way too godamn happy to be on his
hands 'n' knees scrubbing vynil..
Got me a stylin vest..
First and last time I scrub
car parts in England!
Post packing efforts, to the train we strolled toward beer and a feed...
Pretty station this one. Me likey.
Our 2 day adventure concluded with a delightfully tasty
Indian feed on Brick Lane with a bunch of Andrews mates.
Then to the pub with Dave.

Shit photo.

Splendid cider.

Stupendous couple of days.

  1. What are the chances of that! Far out your life is interesting! The vest looks sexy too! You could incorporate that into your wardrobe.
