Yesterday, Ireland voted a big fat yes to gay marriage via referendum.
The atmosphere in town was electric. Happy faces dancing about the Dublin streets, flying the rainbow flag with pure joy. It was a real buzz!
One has to now question, if a country with all the backward ideas such as Ireland can make history and vote yes, why haven't we in Australia?!
